FLOWERS FOR FATHERS

SATURDAY, JUNE 5TH – 10:00AM – 2:00PM

We’ve got you covered for the perfect gift for Dad this year! Join us Saturday, June 5th for a special workshop geared towards kids. This workshop will include a free terracotta pot and one free annual flower. We’ll have paint and fun stickers available, so let your creativity run wild! Explore Cline’s Nursery with a scavenger hunt. What exciting things will you find? Drop in anytime between 10:00AM and 1:30PM to participate.

BUSY BEE’S COURSE

SATURDAY, JUNE 19TH – 11:00AM – 2:00PM

Cline’s is all the buzz this year! Join us for a one-hour free course where you’ll learn how to grow the perfect pollinator garden. Master Gardener℠ volunteers will discuss pollinator-friendly plants, which attract and support bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other important pollinators. Q&A to follow. RSVP through Facebook or visit the nursery to reserve your seat. McNeilly’s Bee Farm will be at Cline’s from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM to answer any questions about bees, and will have fresh local honey available for purchase. Class starts at 11:00 AM, but Master Gardener℠ volunteers will be available after to answer questions.

FRIDAY, JULY 2ND – ALL DAY

It’s Independence Day! Celebrate with Cline’s Nursery. Join us on Friday, July 2nd to receive 10% off on red, white and blue plants! Fun for the whole family! Kids will have the opportunity to explore the nursery with a 4th of July scavenger hunt and we’ll have free face painting. Live music and a bonfire complete with sparklers. Cake Bake Boss will also join the fun with lots of sweet treats available for purchase from 12:00PM on.

Plants are so great for so many reasons but did you know some plants offer medicinal benefits? Join us at Cline’s with a special presentation by Lisa Cochran as she discusses the many different medicinal herbs with all the wonderful benefits they offer. From teas to balms, the options are endless. Some may even surprise you. These herbs are not only great for the body but will also make your yard look amazing! AUGUST

BACK TO SCHOOL

MONDAY, AUGUST 2 – 16TH – ALL DAY

At Cline’s Nursery from August 2nd- 16th, we’ll be accepting school supplies to donate to the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County. Bring in new school supplies (pencils, glue sticks, markers, etc.) and receive 10% OFF your total purchase.

WATERmelon FUN

TUESDAY, AUGUST 3RD – 2:00-4:00PM

When the summer heat is too hard to beat, head on over to Cline’s for a tasty treat. Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, we are turning on all sprinklers throughout the nursery to keep you cool. Bring your towels and swimwear for some summer fun. With it being national watermelon day, we will also have watermelon for sale and to snack on. Adult supervision will be required for this event for all children.

WHAT IN CARNATION?!!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 7TH – 10:00AM – 2:00PM

Join us for a fun-filled day at Cline’s Nursery! Did you know some flowers are safe enough to eat? In this kids’ workshop we will explore the nursery with a scavenger hunt finding all flowers that are safe enough to eat while learning the importance of plant safety. We will have cupcakes almost too beautiful to eat and lemonade by Hannah’s Coffee House. Drop-in anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM to participate.

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

SATURDAY, AUGUST 21ST – ALL DAY

Who let the dogs out?! We’re honoring all dog lovers here at Cline’s Nursery. Bring your four-legged loved one and explore the nursery. 10% of sales that day will be donated to Hope’s Chest, a nonprofit that focuses on providing medical and surgical care to animals referred to them by Cleveland County Animal Control in Shelby, NC. Dog treats and water bowls will be set up and ready for a fun-filled day at the nursery. Please be sure to keep your dog leashed, and bring “poo bags” to clean up after your pet. T’s Tiny Farm food truck will be at Cline’s from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM, and has generously decided to donate 10% of sales to Hope’s Chest.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 28TH – 9:00AM – 12:00PM

Learn how to design a cut garden that allows you to create beautiful flower arrangements for your family to enjoy in late Summer and early Fall. Join us at Cline’s Nursery for a flower arranging demonstration led by Susan Patterson of In Season Florals. Susan will discuss how to achieve the most natural floral arrangements with endless possibilities to choose from for starter plants. RSVP on Facebook to reserve a chair.
